<선악의 피안> 영문판. 1886년에 출간된 니체의 철학에세이. 니체는 도덕(道德)을 ‘군주 도덕’과 ‘노예 도덕’으로 나누었다. 그는 유럽에서 지배적인 기독교의 도덕을 노예 도덕으로 매도한 뒤에, 그런 낡은 도덕에 의한 선악(善惡)의 기준을 부정하고 새로운 도덕, 즉 군주 도덕을 수립하고자 하였다.
